Oh WhAT FuNNN!

Oh, how fun Christmas is when you have two small children! They love everything that they receive (even clothes!) and are so amazed at even the tiniest of presents. Jack woke up this morning eager to see what Santa had brought.

Letter from Santa

He got a new bike, his own computer with educational games, a smart cycle, puzzles, books, a doctor's kit, clothes, and movies. Sam got new books, some clothes, and new baby toys! They both got more than they will ever be able to play with!

Mommy and her doctor!
After we opened presents from Santa, we went to Nan and Fatz's house to eat breakfast and open more presents. The hardest part for Jack was waiting his turn while everyone opened their presents one at a time! Again...we all are truly blessed because we received so much.

Having a new baby during Christmas makes the story of Jesus' birth so real. How blessed we are that he was born to Mary and would live such an abundant life for us. Being thankful gets so overused that some times "thankful" and "thanks" lose their meaning...what word could express such an appreciation for this special birth in a manger? I have such an overwhelming appreciation and heart full of love during Christmas time as we remember the true meaning of Christmas.

I hope that you each had a very blessed and joyous Christmas day!
