Baby Dedication

A couple of weeks ago, our church had baby dedication Sunday. As parents, we promised to be intentional with our time in raising our children. We celebrated with six other sweet families and got to share a letter to Sam that Neil and I had written. It was a very sweet memory that made me want to be a better parent. I love this little boy and his big brother.

Today we dedicate you to the Lord. You were His first and He has graciously allowed us to have you while we are here on this earth. We believe that the most important thing in our life is to love the Lord. That is our prayer for your life as well. We hope to raise you in a way that you will always know God's love for you first and foremost. We love your never ending smile and know that as you grow you will be a light to this world. Your brother adores you and we can't wait to see how you become best friends. We hope you become a man who puts God first and will strive to love your own family with all of your heart. We know you'll accomplish everything that you put your mind too. Dream big dreams and never stop learning. Be a servant to others and we promise you'll never be disappointed. We will always be your biggest fans and greatest supporters. We will always love you and pray you grow to become a young man who follows hard after the Lord.
